Fans of the Mortal Kombat franchise, take note — Warner Bros. is taking advantage of its re-inspired popularity, and has confirmed that the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection is being released next week.

The collection will be a downloadable title that consists of the original trilogy — Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. It will be available on the PSN August 30th, while Xbox Live Arcade and PC users will get it the following day.

While Mortal Kombat II is already available on the PSN, and has been for quite some time, this version will support online play, leaderboards, trophies and achievements.

NetherRealm studios is working alongside Other Ocean to develop the title, and they’re asking for $9.99 on the PSN and PC, and 800 Microsoft Points on XBLA.
